the chair is an object that has been with us in our daily lives for hundreds of years. in the history of design, the chair has often been a symbol that reflected the culture of the time, and today it can and should be a reflection of our influence on the planet. this chair aims to convey the spirit of our times and promote a more contemporary and responsible way of looking at objects. thinking about the type of raw material to use was the starting point for materialising the concept. the concept has as its central premise the use of just one plank of wood to build the entire structure of the chair. through the design of simple shapes and the use of optimised production processes, such as cnc, this chair seeks conscious production that avoids waste of raw materials as much as possible and reduces significant energy costs and co2 emissions throughout its life cycle.

the chair comprises only the most basic elements needed - four legs, seat and backrest - and two side structural supports. the vertical orientation of the front legs gives the chair an imposing presence. however, the formal rigour of the legs contrasts with the backrest and seat which, positioned at a slight angle, seem to be levitating in the hope of converging with each other. the precision and simplicity of the construction manifest a serenity typical of relaxing spaces, making it ideal for a wide variety of uses in domestic and contract environments *(living rooms, waiting rooms, museums, restaurants, boutiques, etc)*.
